NEWAY's History
The original NEWAY Weight Management System has proven itself since its beginning in September 2007. It focused on healthy nutrition that brings about balanced body chemistry and therefore a greater sense of wellbeing. It also emphasized the need for exercise and gave strategies to deal with stress and the roadblocks that we face on our journey to health. Over 150 people have gone through the course and have lost weight and increased their quality of life. They report more energy, less depression, stronger fingernails and healthier hair, control in their food intake, joy in their outlook for the future, better blood sugar control for diabetics and an altogether sense of wellbeing they did not have before.
However, after two years, some people have put some of the weight back on. This caused me to pause and reexamine my curriculum. I realized that unless I involved God in the teaching, I was not giving a full answer to overcoming overeating. The main key to permanent lifestyle changes is surely the One who is able to sustain any changes we make.
I revamped my NEWAY program and made it a truly complete NEWAY.
