Personal Training, Weight Management and Fitness Classes for Women

Welcome to Barb's Fit U!

My name is Barbara Isaac Croce, and I love to help women love themselves by taking care of their bodies!

I personal train people in a corporate environment as well as on location.  I have given up training people in my home gym for a season as I am planning to further my education in the field of nutrition.  I also run a weight management program in which each group of ladies goes from being frustrated to being in control of their bodies.

I am all about helping my clients meet their own personal goals, and when I accomplish that, it makes my day, my week, my month!

As you look around this website, you will hopefully learn a bit more about Barb's Fit U and get motivated to move a little more--and find a way to enjoy it!

Get Fit Quick!!!

No matter how badly you want it, getting fit quick isn't going to happen.... but I can just about guarantee noticeable changes within three weeks of working out steadily!  Getting fit is a lifestyle change for the long run; it will require commitment, diligence and patience, but the results are absolutely worth it!

My Bio

Born and raised in Belgium, I married my best friend some 28 years ago and crossed the pond with him to make a life for ourselves out here in the US.  Together, we have three wonderful grown-up children, and now a great daughter-in-law as well.

I stayed home and raised the kids until my last one was in third grade, at which point I went to work part-time for a fund raising company.  Eventually, we bought the company and ran it for 7 years.  We gave it up, and I "played around" as a day trader for a while, and became very much involved with fitness as well.  In 2004, I started to work at the YMCA, teaching aerobics classes, and went on to teach Silver Sneakers, do some Personal Training and set up their now famous Boot Camp program. I loved it there, but left when a chiropractor asked me to become a physical therapy assistant for him.  Some of my clients at the YMCA asked me if I would continue to train them at my home, and that is how Barb's Fit U was born.

It grew quite fast and I chose to give up the physical therapy assistant job to devote myself completely to fitness, adding some on location work.  NEWAY (the weight management division of Barb's Fit U) was developed in 2007 and is growing strong at this point.

My future?  Filled with joy!  I have the best job in the world...
